I'm glad to be working with the Flitterblooms again. When we had them earlier mine was really fussy, but now it's bigger and calmer, I think. And it's part of a pair! I'm excited to see what the hatchling looks like.

Would you like to practise Patronuses tomorrow? I would say today, only I don't know if it'd be very good on a day with double Dark Arts and Muggle Studies.

I've only just heard about The Leaky Cauldron! Tom is such a sweetheart, I can't believe they would arrest him. And now some parts of the pub are destroyed. It's so sad.

I don't understand. Why do we need the Inquisitorial Squad? I mean, I know it's because people are breaking rules, but - isn't that what the Prefects are here for? There's already a system, and it's fair, with the same number of them in every house and year. I don't understand why we're making a new one instead of trying to make the old one better. I know that I would be willing to do more rounds if that's what it takes to do my job as best as I possibly can.

Are you alright? I saw what Ernie wrote and I don't think he meant to be cruel but it really wasn't very nice, I mean if I got covered in frog parts I wouldn't exactly want him telling everybody about it. And now other people are talking about it and, I don't know, I just don't think I'd like it very much, and I don't think you would either.
